Public Works is responsible for the maintenance of public infrastructure in De Soto, including street maintenance, street signs, traffic lights, stormwater maintenance, water production, water distribution maintenance, right of way maintenance, fleet maintenance, and much of the capital improvement program.
The City’s Public Works Department is a full service, front-line operational department and serves as first responders in emergency situations where Public Works Services are required. Our primary objective is to support your quality of life by helping to make living and working in De Soto safer and easier.
