Utilities

The De Soto Utilities Department includes our water and sewer utilities. De Soto operates both water and a sewer treatment facilities, a water distribution system and a sewer collection system. There are approximately 2,500 water service customers on the system, and the average daily water demands are approximately 1 million gallons per day. The sewer treatment plant treats approximately 550,000 gallons of sewage per day.
