Blooming De Soto, Rising Tomorrows, a 3D sculpture created by 2024–2025 USD 232 CAPS students, is now on display in front of City Hall!
Commissioned by the De Soto Arts Council and the City of De Soto, the piece reflects the city’s past, present, and future through symbolic elements like a sunflower, windmill, and panel artwork representing De Soto’s heritage and growth.
This collaborative public art project began with student-led community input and was brought to life through creative design, feedback from local leaders, and hands-on construction by the students themselves.
