Good news! Thanks to unseasonably warm weather in February and March, contractors have made remarkable progress on the concrete paving operations along KDOT’s West 103rd Street widening project, including the new Edgerton Road roundabout.

That said, we’re excited to share that access to the Sunflower Nature Park and Baseball Fields will be open by Memorial Day -- nearly seven months ahead of schedule!

Here’s how to get there:

Sunflower Nature Park:

1. Take either westbound West 103rd Street or southbound Edgerton Road to the roundabout
2. Exit the roundabout onto eastbound West 103rd Street
3. Look for the park entrance on the right

Baseball Fields:

1. Take either westbound West 103rd Street or southbound Edgerton Road to the roundabout
2. Exit the roundabout onto westbound West 103rd Street
3. The ballfield entrance will be to the left
