Starting May 20th, the intersection of 87th Street and Sunflower Road will be fully closed for approximately two weeks as contractors install a new sanitary sewer pipe across 87th - as part of the 5-Mile Sewer Project.
Closure Details:
- Full Closure: The intersection at 87th & Sunflower will be completely closed to traffic.
- Local Access: Residents and property owners along 87th Street will still have access to their properties/roads (aka Access to Thru Traffic), but vehicles will not be able to get to Sunflower Road via 87th Street.
- Duration: This closure is planned for May 20th to June 3rd
- Detour Routes: Detailed detour signs will be in place to reroute traffic around 87th. Please follow the posted signs and plan your travel accordingly to avoid delays.
