Exciting news from the fairway!
The Kansas Tourism team stopped by City Hall to celebrate our nearly-complete, 18-hole disc golf course with one of those giant, movie-scene-style checks… and we couldn’t be more grateful!
De Soto was one of just 21 projects across the state to receive funding through the Tourism Attraction Development Grant—a program that helps spark exploration, attract visitors, and energize Kansas communities.
That support, combined with the backing of our incredible sponsors and community, is getting us closer to opening a free, public course at Riverfest Park—open year-round for players of all levels.
We’re eyeing a soft opening in late July, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
