The City Council has begun an overhaul of the City’s long-term capital planning process. The CIP outlines the City’s plan for achieving the goals, objectives, and service delivery levels desired by the Mayor and City Council. The purpose of this plan is to forecast and match projected revenues and major capital needs over a five (5)-year period.

“If it wags, it needs a tag!”
Remember ALL pets within the City of De Soto must be tagged per City Ordinance Number 1046. Registration is due before April 1st. Cost of tag is $2.00 for a Spayed/Neutered pet and $10.00 for a Non-Spayed/Non-Neutered pet. An extra $25.00 will be included for tags purchased after April 1st. You may purchase pet tags at City Hall Monday-Friday from 8 am – 4:00 pm.
