Welcome to the Contractor information area. The information provided here is to assist both residential and commercial contractors doing work within the City of De Soto with regards to permits, requirements and inspections.

Please note that all contractors doing work within the City must be properly licensed. The City does not require a Business License, however all individuals acting as a general contractor, swimming pool (in-ground), roofing contractor, electrician, plumber, or HVAC contractor must have a valid Contractor’s License issued by Johnson County Kansas.
